AFPE, which stands for Asociación de Fotógrafos Profesionales de España (Association of Professional Photographers of Spain), is a non-profit organization founded in 1984 with the aim of uniting and protecting the greats of professional photography. As a collective of professional photographers, we cover all different photographic disciplines. Together, we share and support each other to achieve collective goals, become better professionals, and strive for excellence in our work.

Our daily work involves promoting professional photography in all its aspects. We advocate for the defense of the rights of authors and materials derived from the work of our members, in accordance with current legislation and international treaties. We also work as an entity in the field to promote and advance the recognition of professional photography, showcase the public image of our sector and professional photographers, and promote the creation, dissemination, use, and protection of photographic works for the progress of our industry.
