## Description

The Academy of Family Physicians of Malaysia (AFPM) is a prestigious organization that focuses on the professional development and continued medical education of general practitioners. With a mission to enhance healthcare delivery and improve the overall health of Malaysians, AFPM emphasizes the concept of One Family, One Doctor to support continuity of care. For the past 30 years, the academy's senior members have played a vital role in providing leadership and mentorship programs, fostering a lifelong learning culture. Through a Professional Development Program (PDP), members can elevate their competency and become full members of the academy. Graduates are also given the opportunity to pursue further training as teachers, mentors, examiners, or even chief censors. AFPM provides regular programs, conferences, and seminars, where members can update their knowledge, connect with fellow doctors, and enjoy reduced fees. By serving as the backbone of quality primary healthcare in Malaysia, AFPM contributes significantly to improving healthcare outcomes. Join AFPM and embark on a lifelong journey of education and career advancement in family medicine.
