## Description

AFRAM is a Baltimore festival celebrating African American culture, community, and legacy. The 50th AFRAM Festival is scheduled for June 19–21, 2026, during Juneteenth weekend at Druid Hill Park, a 745-acre urban park in Baltimore, Maryland. Presented as three days of free fun, the festival welcomes people from all walks of life and is described as one of the largest African American festivals on the East Coast. It draws crowds of more than 150,000 people each day.

Visitors can enjoy national entertainment, local food, and a range of festival experiences. The event also creates ways for the community to take part: artists can apply to perform, vendors can join, and volunteers can support the festival. Other opportunities include documenting AFRAM’s legacy, joining Community Row, and contributing to festival design. The 2026 schedule is Friday from 3 to 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 9 p.m. AFRAM brings residents and visitors together to celebrate culture and connection in a welcoming, public setting.
