## Description

The Africa Carbon Forum (ACF) serves as a premier platform dedicated to advancing climate action and sustainable development across Africa. Established under the Nairobi Framework in 2006, ACF aims to enhance participation among developing countries in initiatives like the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM). The forum organizes annual events, with the latest being the 11th ACF held from March 18-22, 2019, focused on providing project developers and policymakers with essential insights into investment, finance, and developmental opportunities related to climate change.

Participants engage in discussions on Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), innovative projects, and climate finance access, promoting regional and global cooperation. ACF welcomes diverse stakeholders including climate focal points, NGOs, financial institutions, and multilateral agencies, ensuring a comprehensive exchange of knowledge on carbon markets and climate policy. With an emphasis on facilitating effective implementation of transformative climate strategies, the Africa Carbon Forum is pivotal in fostering a resilient, low-carbon future for the continent.
