## Description

AFITC (A Friend In The City) creates bespoke private journeys across Spain, Portugal, France and Morocco. Led by Silvia and a network of local residents, the brand offers an alternative to standard tour packages: each trip is shaped around the traveller and arranged through trusted personal connections in the places they visit. Experiences focus on local food, culture, landscapes and meaningful access, with opportunities to meet makers, explore less-visited areas and take part in activities rather than simply observe them.

AFITC offers multi-day journeys and single-day experiences. Its sample itineraries include Spain’s northern coast, Catalonia, Madrid and nearby historic cities, the Mediterranean and islands, and the south; Portugal’s Atlantic coast; France; and Morocco. Day experiences range from art and restoration in Madrid to a ranch visit near El Escorial, a guided day in Toledo, Basque food and traditions in Bilbao, and less familiar corners of Barcelona. The company also works with travel businesses and institutions, supporting alumni programs, sports delegations and luxury agencies with curated experiences and local ground arrangements in Spain.
