## Description

Afrikayna is a Moroccan association dedicated to intercultural exchange, development, and cooperation, with a focus on the promotion of African arts and cultures. Committed to enriching the cultural landscape of Africa, Afrikayna undertakes various initiatives that include artistic mobility, workshops, masterclasses, and creative residencies. They support artists through programs like Africa Art Lines, a mobility fund designed to assist in the travel costs associated with artistic creation in Africa.

In recent years, Afrikayna has launched ambitious projects aimed at revitalizing the arts sector, particularly as they return with renewed energy post-2023. Their innovative programs encompass the valorization of traditional African musical instruments, exemplified by their VITA program. Further, Afrikayna connects cultures through events like "Voyage Gnaoua en Pays Bambara," fostering historical and contemporary collaborations among diverse musical generations. With a focus on community, creativity, and cultural heritage, Afrikayna is poised to shape the future of African arts on both local and international stages.
