## Description

AFTN, or Away From The Numbers, is a renowned brand that originated as a printed football fanzine in Scotland back in 1989. Over the years, it has expanded its reach and now operates as two websites, two blogs, and a podcast, covering football in both Scotland and Canada. Known for its quality content, AFTN garnered praise early on, with the Daily Sport hailing it as the best fanzine we've seen so far. The brand's unique and surreal cartoons gained recognition, leading to appearances on popular TV shows like They Think It's All Over and Soccer AM. In 2003, AFTN embraced the digital age, becoming the unofficial website and forum for East Fife Football Club. In 2009, the brand went global, launching a Canadian blog dedicated to covering all levels of Vancouver Whitecaps Football Club and the local soccer scene in British Columbia. With humor, opinion pieces, and a lighthearted approach, AFTN aims to entertain while providing the latest news, interviews, and commentary on football. They also take pride in delving into the rich histories of their teams. Whether you're a new or longtime reader or listener, AFTN appreciates your support. They look forward to continuing to entertain, inform, and come up with innovative ideas for years to come.
