## Description

Agape Bici is a registered, nonprofit amateur sports association in Italy, bringing together Christian cycling enthusiasts to promote cycling among disadvantaged communities in Catania. Its work supports immigrants, refugees, and people experiencing poverty, using bicycles to encourage inclusion, build community connections, and help participants develop practical skills that may support employment.

The association offers electric bikes, mountain bikes, and city bikes for rent, helping visitors explore Catania and Sicily, from the city’s historic center to the coast and Mount Etna. Rentals include a helmet and lock, while mountain bikes also come with a basic tire-repair kit. Agape Bici also repairs both new and older bicycles, with appointments available for riders needing assistance.

For people who want to learn, the organization provides courses in basic cycling safety, bicycle maintenance, repair, and mechanics in both English and Italian. Supporters can donate bicycles or contribute financially to help make cycling more accessible. Agape Bici also offers partnership opportunities for local businesses and organizations.
