## Description

Agence Chapa is a French research and training centre focused on ethnoagroecology. It develops tools that help people access information and practical knowledge in applied ethnology, ethnobotany, agroecology and agricultural biodiversity. The agency shares traditional craft and farming skills while supporting projects that connect people with plants, food and local landscapes.

Its work includes research, inventories and training, as well as practical services for individuals and organisations. These can include creating or renovating gardens, vegetable plots and orchards; producing technical or botanical information sheets; and designing courses for students, cooks, farmers, gardeners and activity leaders. The agency can also help develop projects involving gardens, meals and markets.

Agence Chapa’s activities extend to public initiatives such as festivals, markets and plant or heritage collections. Its resources include a database, technical sheets, training information and a blog. Through research, knowledge-sharing and project support, the agency brings together ecological approaches and local expertise, making specialist knowledge and hands-on skills more accessible to a broad range of audiences.
