Agenda Antártica is a non-governmental organization that focuses on preserving the environment of the Antarctic continent and the Southern Ocean. With a mission to protect these regions for future generations, Agenda Antártica engages in environmental preservation, polar research, and fosters cooperation among the communities living in the southern regions. 

Established in 2012, Agenda Antártica is a member of the Antarctic and Southern Ocean Coalition (ASOC), an umbrella organization with observer status in the Antarctic Treaty System. They are also the publishers of the Journal of Antarctic Affairs since 2014. 

As the only Latin American NGO exclusively dedicated to the Antarctic, Agenda Antártica operates on a volunteer-based model. Through their commitment and advocacy, they contribute to the preservation of this unique ecosystem.
