Aging in Place is an information and resource website created by Patrick Roden, RN, Ph.D., to help older adults remain in the homes and communities they choose as they age. Drawing on more than 35 years of experience working with and researching older adults, Roden aims to inform, empower, and inspire seniors, families, and caregivers with practical guidance and expert perspectives. The site brings together articles and resources on aging-related technology, housing and remodeling, lifestyle and design, health, and in-home care. Topics include home modifications such as ramps, tools that can support independence, hiring in-home care or a geriatric care manager, and ways to maintain health and mobility.
