## Description

Agitka.su is a historical research project launched in April 2012 by a team of researchers focused on military propaganda during the Second World War. The site describes itself as a major documentary reference resource on information warfare of the period. Its catalogue contains more than 7,000 leaflets and brochures published by the countries at war between 1939 and 1945 for distribution among their opponents. Visitors can explore materials through general and advanced searches, reference guides, indexes, virtual exhibitions, and catalogues of publishers and leaflet series. The project also documents other forms of propaganda, including radio broadcasts, visual campaigns, loudspeaker operations, and the spread of rumours. Its team publishes specialist research and records online lectures about efforts to influence people during the war. Recent additions include newly identified leaflet series, archival collections, and recognized or translated texts. Agitka.su presents its materials as historical documents for research and remembrance, and provides information about the legal and editorial principles governing their publication.
