## Description

Agora du Design is a French association founded in 1983 to support and promote French design through research, exhibitions, and writing. It has been financially supporting young designers for 25 years in their research projects that address the major challenges of contemporary society. With funding from the Ministry of Culture and the Hermès Foundation, the association highlights designers from all fields and their original research projects. In 2018, the association evolved to become Agora du Design, offering biennial support that includes two research grants, a curatorial grant for exhibitions, and a prize for remarkable written work related to design practices. They also organize the Agora du Design exhibition every two years, showcasing the original exhibitions of their laureates, as well as the Agora Meetings, featuring debates, conferences, performances, and installations that explore design in all its diversity. With its mission to support, showcase, and promote French design's diversity, creativity, and richness, Agora du Design plays a vital role in addressing the significant challenges of contemporary society.
