## Description

Agriangus is a family-run Angus cattle breeding business in Portugal, founded in 2012 with a commitment to continuous improvement and purposeful selection. The company combines genetics from leading international breeding programmes with data gathered and evaluated in the Iberian context, aiming to develop functional, efficient and predictable cattle.

Fertility is central to Agriangus’s breeding programme. Its strict selection standards include a short breeding season and the expectation that each female calves and raises a calf every year. The herd is also assessed for maternal consistency, structural soundness, feed efficiency, carcass characteristics and beef quality. Agriangus operates an animal feed-efficiency testing station and uses genomic information to improve the accuracy of genetic evaluations and guide earlier decisions.

The company offers selected Angus animals through its annual sale and online auctions, including its scheduled 2026 Elite Online Sale. It also provides Angus semen for sale. Agriangus presents its work as a disciplined, data-informed approach to breeding, focused on performance, efficiency and consistent progress across generations.
