Agrifos is a renowned brand comprising privately owned fertilizer development companies. With a strong foothold in the fertilizer sector, Agrifos has been actively involved in various transactions and has operated numerous fertilizer assets over the past decades. Additionally, Agrifos extends its expertise to the agricultural projects in North and West Africa.

In line with their innovative vision, Agrifos recently sold their Pasadena, Texas fertilizer plant to Rentech Nitrogen in 2012, following a successful business plan implementation that transformed the facility from producing phosphate fertilizers to ammonium sulfate. Currently, Agrifos is dedicated to the development of three fertilizer projects. First is the Baobab Mining and Chemicals, which involves a phosphate mine and chemical complex located in the Republic of Senegal in West Africa, under the ownership of Avenira Limited.

Second is the Gulf Coast Ammonia project, an upcoming ammonia production facility to be situated along the Texas Gulf coast. Finally, Agrifos has also invested in Novaphos, a technology company based in Florida.
