## Description

Agrimer is a French manufacturer and supplier of marine ingredients and active substances for agriculture, cosmetics and nutrition. Based in Plouguerneau, Brittany, the company draws on local marine resources and expertise to develop products for brands and professional customers. Its work spans ingredient development and cosmetic products, supported by capabilities across the production chain, including harvesting, research and development, regulatory support, quality and industrialisation.

Agrimer emphasizes responsible use of seaweed, with harvesting guided by seasons, tides, weather and regulatory requirements. The company also participates in resource-management committees and aims to protect the environment while promoting local sourcing and short supply chains. Its production site is located close to the marine resource it uses, in an area recognized as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Agrimer’s industrial site is certified to ISO 22716, the standard for good manufacturing practices in cosmetics, and the company holds the French Living Heritage Company label, recognizing its expertise and local know-how. Its approach combines marine innovation, French manufacturing and environmental responsibility.
