# agronom.cc

- **Website:** <https://agronom.cc>
- **Primary alias:** `agronom.cc`

## Description

Its database covers more than 337,000 varieties and 3,284 plant species, including field crops, ornamental plants, vegetables, and fruit crops. Users can search by variety, crop, botanical genus, breeder, company, or country, using Cyrillic or Latin names.

Each variety page brings together records that may otherwise be listed separately in national registers. It shows who bred the variety, where it is approved for commercial use, and whether plant variety rights are still in force, with links to sources for individual facts. The directory distinguishes market approval from rights protection, helping users understand that permission to sell and permission to propagate are separate matters.

agronom.cc also provides information on breeders, related companies, countries, plant terminology, diseases, and variety characteristics. Its articles explain topics such as maturity groups, disease-resistance scales, sowing dates, and legal status.
