# Ahmanhiihto - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `ahmanhiihto.fi` ## Description Ahman Pojat ry is a community organisation based in Ahmovaara, North Karelia, best known for organising Ahmanhiihto, a relaxed cross-country skiing tour through the scenic landscapes of Ahmovaara and Koli National Park. The annual event brings together hundreds of recreational skiers to enjoy maintained trails, snowy forests, hilltops and lake views, with a welcoming local atmosphere along the route. Campfire stops and service points help make the experience as much about community and outdoor enjoyment as skiing. The organisation also provides practical event information, including route and trail support, participation details, accommodation guidance, and options for companies and groups. Participants can register and pay through its online shop, which is also used to sell related offerings. Ahman Pojat ry additionally promotes Ahmanjuoksu and operates a multipurpose building. It invites new members, with annual membership options for adults, children and families. Ahmanhiihto is weather-dependent; the 2026 event was cancelled because there was not enough snow for safe skiing, while the next event is announced for 12–13 March 2027. ## Industries - 🏈 Sports - 🏈 Winter Sports _(under Sports)_ - 🎸 Hobbies and Leisure - 🎸 Camping Scouting and Outdoors _(under Hobbies and Leisure)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/Ahmanhiihto) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/ahmanhiihto) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idICB599lo/w/173/h/100/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793383581870) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idICB599lo/w/674/h/674/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793383582172) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Lochmara | #0080c8 | accent | | Japanese Maple | #740202 | dark | | Periwinkle Gray | #bacee4 | light | ## Fonts - Acme — asset _(google)_ - Open Sans — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
