# Association Historique de Marcoussis - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `ahmarcoussis.org` ## Description The Association Historique de Marcoussis is a local heritage organization founded in 1990 by people passionate about history and preservation. Based in Marcoussis, France, it works to safeguard and promote the town’s heritage, with a particular focus on the Château de Montagu. Its activities combine restoration, research, public education, and community events, helping residents and visitors discover the area’s history, historic places, and notable figures. The association organizes regular volunteer work sessions at the château and its ecomuseum. Current restoration efforts include work on the western counterscarp and planning for repairs to the north and west ramparts; the restored tower is open to the public during selected work sessions and events. The organization also supports local archaeological and documentary research, maintains historical resources such as an interactive map and image gallery, and shares updates about its projects and activities. Visitors can find information about the village’s past and take part in events throughout the year. The association welcomes support and offers news by email. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 History _(under Science and Education)_ - 🧪 Libraries and Museums _(under Science and Education)_ - 🎗 Community and Society ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/profile.php?id=100090160780942) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/ahmarcoussis) - [youtube](https://youtube.com/channel/UCCnstzydgh5ZaHuHNfq-XYw) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idocUYQ9xy/w/300/h/200/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793270969014) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idocUYQ9xy/w/100/h/100/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793270969202) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Dodger Blue | #2ca8ff | accent | | Red Beech | #773300 | dark | | Malibu | #8ea9f9 | light | ## Fonts - Caudex — asset _(google)_ - Caudex — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
