# Ahnenforscher Stammtisch Unna - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `ahnenforscher-stammtisch-unna.de` ## Description Ahnenforscher Stammtisch Unna is a genealogy community founded in Unna, Germany, in January 2001. It offers a welcoming, informal meeting place for beginner and experienced family historians researching ancestors from Germany and the former German eastern territories. The group is not a club, requires no membership, and participation is free. Since April 2020, its gatherings have taken place online via Zoom, making them accessible from anywhere. The community hosts talks and discussions on family history, research methods, historical records, genealogy software, and digital tools for building family trees. It also runs a monthly online DNA genealogy gathering, where participants can exchange tips and explore how DNA testing may help identify relatives and address research challenges. After talks, attendees can ask questions and benefit from the group’s shared knowledge. When speakers agree, presentations are recorded and shared on the group’s YouTube channel. The website also provides event calendars, blogs, videos, research resources, and collaborative collections of links from past meetings. ## Industries - 🎸 Hobbies and Leisure - 🎸 Ancestry and Genealogy _(under Hobbies and Leisure)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/afstunna) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/ahnenforscherstammtischunna) ## Logos & icons - icon _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idFIScWx-L/w/299/h/299/theme/dark/icon.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792973871777) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Fun Green | #00882b | accent | | Mine Shaft | #2b2b2b | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - Lato — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
