# Alaska Sudan Medical Project - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `ahpss.org` ## Description Alaska Health Project South Sudan is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit working to improve health and food security in South Sudan. Since 2008, the organization has focused primarily on Fangak County, supporting communities through clean-water access, agriculture, sanitation, and medical services. Its work includes drilling wells, developing small family farms, and constructing two medical clinics. The organization reports that it has completed 113 wells and works with more than 1,000 small farms, over half of which are led by women.
