## Description

Ai-Kon is Manitoba’s largest anime convention, bringing anime and pop-culture fans together in Winnipeg for three days of community, entertainment, and creative expression. The convention is scheduled for July 16–18, 2027, at the RBC Convention Centre. Its program features guest appearances, panels and community-led events, performances by dancers, musicians, and drag artists, and a dedicated cosplay program that includes an annual Cosplay Contest. Attendees can also explore a large Marketplace featuring vendors, artists, outreach exhibitors, food stalls, and Ai-Kon merchandise. The event offers schedule and floor-map information to help visitors plan their experience, along with accessibility details and policies covering cosplay costumes and props. Ai-Kon also invites fans and organizations to take part by applying as vendors, artists, exhibitors, panelists, performers, volunteers, staff, media, sponsors, and food truck vendors. With activities spanning fandom, shopping, performance, and participation, Ai-Kon serves as a gathering place for anime enthusiasts and the wider creative community in Manitoba.
