## Description

The AI Awards celebrate the people, projects and organisations advancing artificial intelligence across Ireland. Bringing together academia and industry, the awards have recognised achievement in the Irish AI community since 2018. Their annual programme highlights work ranging from emerging talent and student projects to enterprise applications, responsible AI and innovation with social impact.

The 2026 awards feature 15 categories, including AI Person of the Year, Young AI Role Model of the Year, Women in AI Ambassador of the Year, and applications of AI in healthcare, sustainability, cybersecurity, public services and business. Entries are assessed on relevance to the business problem, originality, complexity, tools and techniques, impact, and vision. Applications for 2026 are closed, with judging scheduled for 14 September to 5 October and the shortlist due in the week of 12 October.

The in-person awards ceremony takes place on 17 November 2026 at the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel in Dublin, with tickets available to nominees and other attendees.
