# AI Habitat - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `aihabitat.org` ## Description AI Habitat is an innovative simulation platform dedicated to advancing the field of Embodied AI. This state-of-the-art technology empowers researchers to train virtual robots and egocentric assistants in highly photorealistic 3D environments. By facilitating diverse interactions, AI Habitat fosters active perception, long-term planning, and real-time learning from agent-environment interactions. The platform includes components like Habitat-Sim, a high-performance physics-enabled simulator capable of rendering thousands of frames per second, and Habitat-Lab, a modular library designed for end-to-end development of embodied tasks such as navigation and interaction. Furthermore, the Habitat Challenge, an annual event, benchmarks advancements in embodied AI by evaluating AI agents in new, unseen environments. With its focus on safe, efficient training through simulation, AI Habitat represents a significant shift from traditional AI practices, making it an essential tool for innovative research and development in embodied technologies. ## Industries - 🖥 Computers Electronics and Technology - 🖥 Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning _(under Computers Electronics and Technology)_ ## Links - [twitter](https://twitter.com/ai_habitat) - [github](https://github.com/facebookresearch) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG, SVG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idS7AGJ6wv/w/820/h/820/theme/light/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1771891124061) - icon _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idS7AGJ6wv/w/240/h/240/theme/dark/icon.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1771891124155) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Boston Blue | #478cc3 | accent | | Oxford Blue | #3a4257 | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - Source Sans Pro — asset _(google)_ ## Imagery - banner _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idS7AGJ6wv/w/1500/h/500/idTE3iFr1T.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1771891124411) --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
