# Aikido Kobayashi - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `aikido-kobayashi.com.pl` ## Description Aikido Kobayashi Łódź is a martial arts section in Łódź, Poland, affiliated with the Polish Academy of Aikido. Led by sensei Kamil Koszela, the dojo introduces students to the Kobayashi style, a development of traditional aikido founded by Morihei Ueshiba and shaped by his student Hirokazu Kobayashi. Training emphasizes refined technique rather than physical strength and welcomes children, teenagers, and adults. Children’s classes are divided into ages 5–7 and 8–12. Teenagers and adults can train at beginner, intermediate, or advanced levels. The section also offers weapons practice with the wooden boken, jo, and tanto, as well as women’s self-defence sessions designed to explore practical responses to threatening situations. The first two training sessions are free. The dojo is located at Lipowa 49 in Łódź. Aikido Kobayashi Łódź presents itself as a place for individuals and families to develop their abilities, discover aikido, and take part in a welcoming martial arts community.
