## Description

Aïkido Club de Grandris is a community sports club in the Azergues Valley, France, offering Aïkido, a Japanese martial art, and Aïki Taïso. Affiliated with the French Federation of Aïkido and Budo (FFAB), the club is approved by the French youth and sports authorities and holds a Sport Santé Bien-Être label from the French National Olympic and Sports Committee. It is also recognised as a “Club Sportif Engagé” by France Travail.

The club’s activities are designed to support physical fitness and personal development. Participants can work on endurance, strength, coordination, mobility, balance and concentration, while building confidence and learning to respond to stress. Alongside regular practice, the club offers sport and well-being activities and sessions that use sport to support professional reintegration, helping participants reconnect with employment services and strengthen motivation.

Instruction is led by Jean-Gabriel Brando, a fifth-dan Aïkikai practitioner with a DEJEPS qualification, and Madeleine Ferreira, a second-dan practitioner with a federal certificate. The club also engages with themes including sport, diversity, health and social connection.
