## Description

Ki No Nagare Aikikai Aikido Dojo offers traditional Japanese Aikido training in Mayfair, London. Its name means “Flow of the Energy,” reflecting the dojo’s focus on movement, breathing, and the connection between body and mind. Classes take place in an 80-square-metre training space at 16 Balderton Street, equipped with quality tatami mats for safe practice.

Led by Rinaldo Rustico, a 5th Dan instructor certified by the Aikikai of Tokyo, the dojo welcomes beginners and advanced students. Training includes breathing exercises, warm-ups, stretching, safe falling techniques, and Aikido practice. Students learn empty-handed techniques, including throws, joint locks, and pins, as well as the use of wooden weapons such as the bokken, tanto, and jo. The school presents Aikido as both a martial art and a form of “Moving Zen,” emphasizing personal development and harmony rather than aggression.

Weekly classes run Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The dojo also hosts seminars and offers monthly memberships, student rates, visitor classes, and confidential concessions for those facing financial barriers.
