## Description

AIL Salerno ODV “Marco Tulimieri” is a nonprofit association dedicated to supporting people affected by leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma, as well as their families. Founded on 28 May 1998, it is one of 83 autonomous provincial sections of the Italian Association against Leukemia, Lymphoma and Myeloma (AIL). The organization works with volunteers and 90 committees across municipalities in the province of Salerno.

Its activities include supporting scientific research and local hematology centers, providing services for patients, and promoting awareness of blood cancers. Through its Prendersi a Cuore and MovimentAIL initiatives, the association also advances its work in patient support and community engagement. AIL Salerno raises funds through donations, the Italian tax-designation scheme known as 5x1000, charitable gifts and seasonal campaigns, including Christmas stars and Easter eggs. It also organizes local events such as Fitwalking for AIL and invites people to volunteer. By directing collected funds toward research and assistance in the area, the association aims to offer practical help and hope to patients and their loved ones.
