## Description

Aim For Change PC is the private practice of Marie Donabella, PhD, a clinical psychologist based in Providence, Rhode Island. The practice helps people navigate the emotional and mental challenges that can accompany changes in health, sport, and life. Dr. Donabella’s background includes work as a professor and research scientist studying medications for high blood pressure, followed by training in clinical psychology. This experience informs her focus on the connection between the brain and body, stress, health, and well-being.

Services include psychotherapy for people recovering from surgery or injury, injured athletes, and athletes balancing the demands of sport and other responsibilities. The practice also offers support for parents and psychotherapy for women facing the challenges of perimenopause, including changes in mood and memory. Coaching and consulting are available as well. Across these services, the approach aims to help clients understand patterns such as negative thinking, anxiety, and feeling overwhelmed, and build practical skills to cope and feel better. Appointments are available by request in Providence.
