The Aioi Peron Festival is a vibrant and celebrated event held annually in Aioi Bay, marking the onset of early summer in the Banshu region. Scheduled for May 25 and 26 in 2024, the festival features a spectacular lineup of activities including a pre-festival fireworks display and the traditional peron boat racing. On May 25, visitors can enjoy approximately 5,000 fireworks lighting up the night sky, with the main event taking place from 7:50 PM to 8:50 PM. The following day, an exciting land parade showcases local talent with performances from students and various groups from 9:50 AM to 3:00 PM.

In addition to the festival's highlights, guests can explore cultural exhibits, participate in sports contests, and enjoy local bazaars. The lively atmosphere is further enriched by food stalls and community events, creating an immersive experience for all attendees.
