AIPFE Cyprus is an organization dedicated to facilitating and promoting the conversation about women's role in society. Our mission is to empower, motivate, and connect women, ensuring they have a seat at the table. Through our events, workshops, and programs, we strive to fulfill this mission. Our initiatives focus on two broad categories: POLITICS (Society) and the ECONOMY (Leadership & STEM). Established in 2001, our Cyprus chapter aims to disseminate the idea of European citizenship and encourage women's involvement in civil society, both locally and internationally. AIPFE, which stands for Association Internationale pour la Promotion des Femmes d'Europe, was originally founded in Brussels in 1987. We have also been involved in various European-funded projects, such as Women Fit 4 Business and Gender Diversity in Decision-Making Positions, which aim to empower young female graduates and break down social stereotypes. Additionally, AIPFE Cyprus organizes engaging initiatives like the Female Empowerment Talks (#IncredibleWomen) and the Panel Parity Initiative, which highlight important initiatives by women and catalog female experts for public dialogue.
