## Description

AiRS Foundation, or Alliance in Reconstructive Surgery, is dedicated to supporting women who have undergone mastectomies due to breast cancer or BRCA+ genetic mutations. The foundation serves as a comprehensive resource, providing education on various reconstructive surgery options and assistance with their associated costs. AiRS emphasizes advocacy, support, and education, aiming to ensure that reconstructive breast surgery is accessible to all women. Through a range of products and services, AiRS offers financial resources, including grants for surgery and tattooing post-mastectomy, as well as educational resources on mastectomy and reconstruction options. They also provide a supportive environment with online patient stories, videos, and podcasts that showcase personal experiences and encourage community engagement. Additionally, AiRS engages in fundraising initiatives, encouraging donations and volunteer efforts to amplify their mission. Their pop-up shop features handcrafted goods, and they regularly share updates and health information with subscribed members, making a significant impact in the lives of women navigating their healing journeys.
