## Description

AItoCards is an AI-powered study tool that turns articles, personal notes, and textbook chapters into downloadable Anki flashcards. Users paste up to 20,000 characters of source material, and the service generates focused question-and-answer cards designed to support active recall. The resulting deck can be imported into Anki, including its desktop, AnkiWeb, and AnkiDroid versions, where learners can edit, tag, and organize the cards.

The service is intended for students, language learners, medical and law learners, and readers who want to retain information from what they study. It supports source material in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, Russian, Japanese, and Chinese. AItoCards says it uses a large language model and a custom prompt to produce concise, atomic cards, with generation typically taking under a minute. The service is free to use and does not require a credit card. AItoCards stores submitted texts and generated cards, and sends text to a third-party AI provider for processing, so users are advised not to submit sensitive information.
