## Description

Ajax Museum is an online museum devoted to the history and memorabilia of AFC Ajax, the Amsterdam football club. Founded around collector Niels’s personal collection, the website began sharing its treasures online in 2004 and continues to document, expand, preserve, and digitise historic Ajax material. Its collection includes match-worn and other football shirts, including jerseys associated with players such as Johan Cruyff, Jari Litmanen, Frank Rijkaard, and others. Visitors can also explore photographs, Delft blue commemorative plates, trophies and medals, football boots, balls, figurines, books, pennants, stamps, coins, music, and other keepsakes. The site presents historical match programmes, club publications, season tickets, membership cards, player cards, entrance tickets, and memorabilia from different eras. Through its online museum and shop, Ajax Museum offers fans a way to discover and browse items connected with the club’s past. The collection is continually growing, and the museum welcomes donations of old Ajax belongings, including shirts, photographs, programmes, tickets, plates, and medals. Its blog and social media also share museum updates and Ajax-related news.
