## Description

Akadema Inc is not your average sporting goods supplier. With a passion for baseball running through their veins, Akadema creates innovative gear based on a deep understanding of the game. In just a short period of time, they have catapulted themselves into the top baseball and softball equipment companies in America. From professional and college players to high school and serious youth athletes, Akadema caters to players of all skill levels. The brand was founded by former professional baseball player Lawrence Gilligan, who noticed a lack of innovation in baseball gloves. Together with his brother Joe and former professional player Kris Totten, they started Akadema with the goal of designing gloves that would enhance a player's performance. Akadema's first breakthroughs included the Reptilian glove, which allows for a quicker ball transfer, and a catcher's mitt with stress wedge technology. With input from baseball legends like Ozzie Smith and Carl Yastrzemski, Akadema has continued to design some of the most innovative sports equipment on the market. Their product range includes baseball and softball gloves, custom baseball gloves, wood bats, batting gloves, turf shoes, uniforms, pants, and sunglasses. Akadema believes that the best sports equipment can only be made by consulting the best athletes. With a commitment to excellence, Akadema helps athletes of all ages bring their A Game to the field and achieve a higher level of play.
