## Description

Akademie Tutzing, also known as Fortbildungsakademie Beringerpark, is a training and seminar centre in Tutzing on the shores of Lake Starnberg. It is operated by Gemeinnützige Gesellschaft für Hospiz- und Palliativ-Wirken mbH and provides professional development for people working in care and related fields. Its courses include topics in nursing, social care, disability and elder care, and quality management, alongside seminars and continuing education programmes. The academy also hosts specialist events, including a scheduled seminar with Are Thoresen in September 2026 and public talks on subjects such as pain. Learning takes place in a historic villa set within a park, with seminar and meeting rooms equipped with modern media technology. These spaces are available to rent or book for meetings and events. The setting offers a short walk to Lake Starnberg, while the academy’s location near the S6 rail line provides convenient access from Munich. The organisation presents its venue as a place to combine focused learning with a relaxing environment.
