## Description

Akasia Golf Club is a welcoming golf and events venue in Theresapark, Pretoria, about 14 kilometres north of the city centre at the foot of the Magaliesberg mountains. Its 18-hole course offers golfers of all abilities a distinctive bushveld setting, with well-maintained greens, year-round kikuyu fairways, acacia trees, a river and abundant birdlife. The club supports both casual play and competitive golf, with members participating in Gauteng North Union leagues and tournaments. Services include golf-cart hire, caddies, a golf shop, a driving range, a practice putting green and coaching from qualified instructors. The Akasia Golf Academy also provides a dedicated offering for golfers, while a strong junior programme welcomes younger players. Visitors can enjoy the halfway house and clubhouse’s 19th-hole facilities. For events, the club has a large function hall, smaller venues and catering for weddings, corporate golf days, fundraisers and other occasions. Bookings are available in person, by phone or through online golf platforms.
