## Description

Aker Horizons is a leading brand in the development of green energy and green industry, playing a pivotal role in expediting the global transition to a net-zero carbon future. Established in November 2020, Aker Horizons is at the forefront of the Aker group's mission to decarbonize industries worldwide. As a brand, Aker Horizons incubates and invests in companies that have the potential to significantly reduce CO2 emissions. Furthermore, it actively nurtures and grows these companies to generate value for Aker Horizons' shareholders. Aker Horizons takes a diversified approach to decarbonization, with a strong focus on renewable energy, carbon capture, and hydrogen, which are integral in achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. By originating and developing large-scale hydrogen projects, Aker Horizons addresses the increasing demand for decarbonizing energy-intensive and hard-to-abate sectors. The primary areas of interest include green ammonia, green methanol, and green iron. Each portfolio company operates autonomously with dedicated management teams and boards, while also receiving substantial support from Aker Horizons to optimize activities throughout the value chain and leverage expertise within the broader Aker group. Aker Horizons is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange, reflecting its commitment to transparency and accountability as it drives sustainability forward.
