Akita Arts Theater Milhas, established on June 1, 2022, stands as a vibrant cultural hub in Akita, Japan, designed by a collaborative architectural effort led by Sato Planning and Obata Design. The theater features a spacious structure covering approximately 22,653 square meters across six above-ground and one underground floor, offering state-of-the-art facilities for various artistic performances. 

The main hall accommodates up to 2,007 seats, including dedicated spaces for wheelchair accessibility, while the mid-sized hall provides seating for 800. Additional amenities include multiple backstage rooms, rehearsal spaces, and a restaurant. The venue regularly hosts diverse events and performances, making it an integral part of the community's artistic landscape.

Managed by the Akita Arts Theater AAS Joint Venture, the theater also offers annual reports and downloadable materials to keep the public informed. With a dedicated parking facility for approximately 200 vehicles, including accessible spots, Milhas is committed to providing a welcoming environment for audiences and artists alike.
