Akman Construction is a trusted family business that has been operating for over a century. Established in 1912 by Aaron Akman, a certified carpenter who immigrated to Canada from Russia, the company initially focused on constructing single-family homes in the North End of Winnipeg. Over time, they expanded their expertise to include a diverse range of projects.

Today, Akman Construction's impressive portfolio boasts luxury apartments, condominiums, commercial and industrial facilities, as well as large-scale shopping centers. Notable projects include the development of residential apartment buildings such as The Town House Apartments, The Drake Apartments, The Nelson Apartments, and The Tweedsmuir Apartments. They have also made significant contributions to the landscape of downtown Winnipeg, constructing high-rise condominium towers like 160 and 180 Tuxedo, as well as numerous other condominium complexes.

Akman Construction has established itself as a leader in the construction industry and has successfully delivered over 300 Personal Care Home units for the Government of Manitoba. They have also undertaken large-scale commercial and industrial projects, including The Asper Jewish Community Campus and the complete historical restoration at Wesley Hall. With a strong focus on attention to detail, Akman Construction takes pride in their ability to consistently deliver projects on time and within budget.

As a fourth-generation family business, they have maintained their commitment to excellence and high-quality craftsmanship. Contact Akman Construction to bring your vision to life
