## Description

Algoa Kart & Motorcycle Club (AKMC) is a motorsport club founded in 1973 and based at the Celso Scribante Short Circuit in Gqeberha, South Africa. Its outdoor tarmac track is approximately one kilometre long, with multiple layouts designed for different karting and motorcycle classes. The elevated clubhouse offers circuit views, ablutions, a kitchen, braai area and bar for members and spectators.

AKMC welcomes drivers and riders of all ages and experience levels, offering opportunities to practise and compete in both national and regional club events. Karting categories range from beginner and junior classes to senior and advanced classes, while motorcycle classes include Mini Moto, Honda NSF100 and Honda CBR150. Social MSR4 classes provide a more accessible option for individuals, friends, corporate teams and organisations seeking friendly competition.

The club supports newcomers through membership applications, guidance on MSA licensing, class selection, practice and race entry. It also manages event entries, practice access and membership arrangements, with fees for memberships, practice and race participation.
