# Aktion Fläche - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `aktion-flaeche.de` ## Description Aktion Fläche is an information portal presented by Germany’s Federal Environment Agency (Umweltbundesamt) to promote the careful, sustainable use of land. It explains why land is a limited resource and provides practical guidance for reducing new land development and soil sealing. The site serves municipalities, planners, policymakers and the public, bringing together information on land-use goals, strategies and planning principles at local, national and European levels. Its resources include news, case studies, an interactive map, event listings, a glossary, frequently asked questions and information on legal frameworks, types of soil sealing, unsealing potential, implementation and financing. The portal also features tools such as the Federal Environment Agency’s area calculator, which provides regional data and estimates the land-use limits relevant to meeting Germany’s 2030 sustainability target. Visitors can explore examples of land recycling, inner development, urban greening and climate adaptation, as well as guidance on citizen participation, communication and cooperation. Through these services, Aktion Fläche supports informed decisions and stronger awareness of land conservation. ## Industries - ⚖️ Law and Government - ⚖️ Government _(under Law and Government)_ - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Environmental Science _(under Science and Education)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG, SVG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/iddxyePorv/w/820/h/303/theme/light/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1791332339902) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Apple | #5ead35 | accent | | Palm Leaf | #264515 | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - var(--font-sans-serif) — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
