## Description

Anime Messe Babelsberg is an anime and Japanese pop-culture convention held at Filmpark Babelsberg near Berlin. Celebrating its tenth anniversary in 2027, the event runs from July 22 to 25 and brings together fans of anime, manga and Japanese culture for concerts, screenings, performances and community activities. The program includes J-music concerts, an anime cinema, guest appearances, dance events, competitions, workshops and talks, alongside a J-Disco featuring music from Japan and Korea. A special anniversary concert show opens the 2027 celebration on Thursday, with artists from the event’s history and an exclusive performance. Visitors can also explore exhibitors, retailers, artists and fan projects, and take part in cosplay-related activities. The organizers offer event tickets through an online shop and publish schedules, program guides and practical visitor information. In partnership with Filmpark Babelsberg, they also present Anime on Ice, a winter convention featuring an indoor ice rink, scheduled for January 8–10, 2027, at Metropolis Halle in Potsdam.
