## Description

Alacant Desperta is a vibrant civic engagement platform dedicated to fostering social change through altruism and collaboration. This initiative creates dynamic events designed to encourage citizens to explore alternative forms of organization and coexistence. Central to its mission is the annual Alacant Desperta Festival, a self-managed and self-financed event that serves as a space for open dialogue and community interaction, held in the picturesque park of Tossal. The festival showcases a rich program that includes live music, artistic performances, and collective storytelling, illustrating the values of respect and free expression.

One of the unique features of Alacant Desperta is its artistic storytelling project, which combines creativity with community involvement, using animals as characters to convey its message of coexistence. The platform invites everyone to participate, emphasizing the impact of small actions and the hope for a butterfly effect in transforming society. By attending the festival or volunteering, participants contribute to a collective narrative that promotes artistic development and connection in Alicante. Follow Alacant Desperta on social media to stay updated on upcoming activities and events.
