## Description

À La Carte is a community-driven cookbook initiative created to support children treated at the Montreal Children’s Hospital and their families. More than a collection of recipes, the project brings together food, family and stories of healing, celebrating the connections people share around the table. Its cookbooks feature recipes contributed by the community, including dishes passed down through generations, alongside stories from patients and the doctors who care for them.

À La Carte works with sponsors, local businesses, professionals, volunteers and their families to make the project possible. One hundred percent of proceeds benefit the Montreal Children’s Hospital, through its Healthy Kids Fund, and additional donations go directly to the hospital. The initiative reports raising more than $135,000, with its first English edition selling out in seven months.

The available and planned titles include the sold-out English Volume 1, a French edition and À La Carte Cookbook, Encore! Volume 2, both planned for release in October 2026.
