## Description

Aladin33 is an independent regional association founded in 1991 by healthcare staff from Bordeaux University Hospital. It supports children living with serious illnesses through two complementary aims: making their dreams come true and improving their experience of hospital stays. Working closely with staff at the Children’s Hospital, the association helps create meaningful moments of escape for children and their families during demanding periods of treatment.

Aladin33 arranges a wide range of experiences based on each child’s wishes, including family holidays, theme park visits, sporting events, and special encounters with animals. Recent examples include trips to Disneyland Paris, a stay on Île d’Oléron, attending a Top 14 rugby final, and spending a night near polar bears at La Flèche Zoo. The association also supports projects proposed by healthcare teams to make hospital departments more welcoming and everyday life more comfortable for young patients.

Aladin33 invites the public to contribute through donations, volunteering, and fundraising events. It reports that 95% of its budget is devoted to activities for children.
