Bone & Joint Health is an independent charitable organization known as the Alberta Bone and Joint Health Institute (ABJHI). They specialize in improving bone and joint health conditions by turning knowledge into better care. With a focus on evidence-based practices, they develop innovative products and concepts to enhance patient health in Alberta.

Bone and joint conditions, such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and spinal disorders, affect millions of people globally. These debilitating conditions cause pain, limit mobility, and can lead to social isolation and a decline in overall health. The cost of care, lost productivity, and reduced quality of life associated with these conditions place a significant burden on society.

Recognizing the need for improved bone and joint health care, ABJHI collaborates with healthcare partners to develop innovative solutions. Supported by partnerships with Alberta Health Services, universities, medical professionals, and government organizations, ABJHI offers a range of services. They design, evaluate, and implement evidence-based care models, facilitate relationships to advance bone and joint health, provide project and research management services, and conduct advanced analytics to support their partners.
