## Description

ACCPA (Alberta Community Crime Prevention Association) is a brand dedicated to making communities in Alberta safer. Established in 1989 as the Alberta Community Police Advisory Committee and later becoming ACCPA in 1990, this organization was formed to address crime-related issues within communities, police services, and government. ACCPA's main goal is to ensure the safety of Albertans and their communities through educational programs and raising awareness about crime prevention. They serve as a bridge between rural and urban communities and agencies, promoting community safety and well-being. ACCPA actively collaborates with partners, such as the RCMP K Division, by signing Memorandums of Understanding to strengthen their existing relationships and work together on initiatives and projects. With a dedicated Board of Directors, including President Jean Bota, Vice President Corinna Williams, Secretary Holly Arthur, and Treasurer Samuel Komolafe, ACCPA brings agencies and citizens together to build safer communities and promote well-being for all.
