## Description

The Alberta Pond Hockey Association organizes the Alberta Pond Hockey Championships, a winter event celebrating the informal roots of Canadian hockey. Inspired by games played on frozen ponds, lakes, dugouts and rivers, the championships bring players and spectators together for a weekend of sport, friendship and outdoor fun. Based in Grimshaw, Alberta, the Alberta Pond Hockey Association connects hockey enthusiasts with a distinctive community event and a chance to explore the surrounding region.
