## Description

Alchemia-nova is a non-profit research and innovation institute focused on nature-based solutions and circular economy principles. Its work supports the transition to climate-smart, sustainable societies and helps communities, businesses, and regions become more resilient. The institute provides research and consulting across the circular bioeconomy, climate change adaptation, circular building, nature restoration, pollution control, and capacity building. Services include policy support, stakeholder engagement, technical guidance, engineering design, and the installation, monitoring, and maintenance of demonstration sites. Alchemia-nova works with public authorities, businesses, communities, and educational institutions on challenges involving water management, cities and infrastructure, agriculture and food, and industrial production.

Its products apply circular and nature-based approaches to practical needs. LooPi™ is a sustainable public toilet designed to reduce water use and recover nutrients from urine. vertECO® is a vertical green wall system that treats domestic wastewater for on-site reuse, while GRETA™ uses green facade panels to treat greywater. Through research projects and collaboration with partners, Alchemia-nova develops and shares technologies and practices intended to deliver environmental, economic, and social benefits.
